I would like to invite you all to join my friends: Caterina Giglio, Christi Wich, Kelly Feraro, Sara Massey and I for the 'Elements of Botany' show that is sponsored by the owner of EsScentuals, (a beautiful little Parisian shop in Downtown Fort Collins) Meg Deweese. The show was inspired by the Round Robin altered books that the five of us did in 2007 and was published in Somerset Studio Gallery, the winter 2009 issue. When Meg Deweese saw Caterina's book she fell in love with it and asked Caterina to have a show at her shop with the artists that where part of this collaborative project. It was an honor to be asked. I have been creating for the last month jewelry, collages and journals in the theme of the show (now you know way I was so busy last month). Here is the preview collage of some of the art.
